The Body Scan

In the first lesson, you will do a scan of the body to bring awareness to how you feel and what you are experiencing in this present moment.

When you are aware of yourself at any given moment; what you are doing, sensing and feeling, your brain is working at its highest level. This is the foundation lesson as it allows you to be present.

RELEASE PAIN & TENSION IN THE UPPER BACK & LOWER BACK

In week 2 you will learn how to bend easily and freely. The focus is on gentle movements that fold and lengthen the spine allowing ease and increased flexibility in your movement

ACCESS YOUR POWER CENTRE

In week 3 you learn how to access your power centre: The Pelvis. You will learn how to move your pelvis better and easier, increasing flexibility.

BALANCE FROM YOUR POWER CENTRE

In Week 4, you will learn more about balance through your body and mind. Learn to achieve physical, mental and emotional balance by improving your balance through movement and attention. Learning to apply balance in daily living is a practical tool that equips you to better face challenges and respond with resilience.

TOTAL BODY FLEXIBILITY

In Week 5, you will give yourself the opportunity to move the entire body. You will move your neck freely by twisting through the entire spine. When you can move freely and easily, reducing pain and tension in your body, you enhance your quality of life.

In Week 6, you will explore loosening your joints to allow greater flexibility in movements

REDUCED PAIN, INCREASED FREEDOM IN YOUR UPPER BODY

In Week 7, you will continue exploring the relationship between your power centre and lower back, head and shoulders. Once you are able to coordinate the movement it allows for freedom in movement of our arms, shoulders and neck.

BREATHE IN NEW LIFE & REDUCE PAIN, TENSION & STRESS

In Week 8, you will explore a breathing experience that focuses on the expansion of your lung capacity. When you are able to improve the flow of oxygen into your body it will greatly benefit you on a cellular level, as the oxygen concentration improves the functioning of each cell and organ.

COORDINATED MOVEMENT FOR INCREASED VITALITY

In Week 9, you will learn how to move your body to improve your daily activities. You will explore moving from lying to sitting and from sitting to lying in a swift and easy way. This will allow ease in movements of the body and reduction in aches and pains.
